About Emily Dobrowski Lindberg, lCSW

You don’t have to carry this all on your own.

I’m an Austin-based therapist specializing in anxiety and trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I work with high-achievers who are ready to break free from old patterns.

Being here doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you’re resilient.

I want you to know that seeking out therapy means that you are ready to change behaviors that no longer serve you.

How I work

At its core, my approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that everyone has the tools within themselves; sometimes, we just need help reclaiming them.

My goal for all clients is to leave the therapy room feeling lighter, empowered, and armed with the tools to find greater balance outside the room.

Therapy with me is…

  • Not every client needs the same approach. It’s important to me that we work together to identify your valued identity factors, specific needs, and unique strengths.

  • You won't experience a detached or stoic therapist with me. I am warm and engaging, and I will be here to validate and support you during your difficult emotions. Together, we will celebrate your successes and discover moments of humor and joy along the way.

  • I have experience working with clients who face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I incorporate insights and techniques from various theories, including attachment theory, psychodynamic approaches, and interpersonal neurobiology, to help you gain a deeper understanding of the feelings, thoughts, and behaviors that arise during therapy. My role is to guide our experience together, rather than simply lead or follow.

  • My goal is that you leave each session with practical insights that you can apply outside of therapy to build the life you want.
